Soul Robots



Soul Robots is a musical solo project born in 2011, created by guitarist and journalist Andres Cuneo in Santiago de Chile.

Soul Robots songs covers a wide range of sounds ranging from rock, electronic music and pop, with an ambience emphasis on the arrangements and lyrics written around personal, existential and in some cases political content.

Previous experience in bands and a personal conception of music are blended in this project, after some years of estrangement from musical creation.

Soul Robots repertoire has been played mainly in Chilean and foreign online radios, especially the songs "Serotonina", "Nomadas", "Mescalina" and "Fabrica de Mentiras”. Its music is part of several mixtapes and compilations, being very important for the breadth of its scope those published by the Movimiento del Ruido community based in La Plata, Argentina, of which Soul Robots is part.

At the present its songs are played in different online radios in Chile, Latin America (especially Argentina and Mexico), Spain and in a Hispanic speaking radio station in Houston, Texas (USA).

Soul Robots is also part of the Comunidad de Músicos Emergentes (Emerging Musicians Community) of Santiago, cultural association devoted to the management of independent musicians in Chile’s capital.

Soul Robots was chosen the best independent soloist of 2013 by Generaciones de Chile Radio.

The Pabellon Patrio program, broadcasted in the north of the country, chose Soul Robots’ "Fiesta Circunlunar" song at the position 35 of its ranking of the top 100 songs released in 2014.


In January 2014 Soul Robots published its first EP of self-production, available for free download on Bandcamp and Sazoot. 
Is currently working on the material that will be part of his first LP, scheduled for late 2015.
